The first half of the competitive
match ended in 0-0, but in the early minutes of the second half Mohamed
Abdulkader Sharif scored the golden goal for his team in the 49thminute of the match.
Despite they lost in
their attempt to win Thursday’s match, the Sing Jet boys have performed well and
as a result they were given no cautions in the 90 minutes of the match. They were
many times taking counter attacks on the opposite goal, but however they didn’t
happen to reach their target.
Somali Football Federation
Secretary General Abdi Qani Said Arab who talked to the media at the stadium
said that the tournament ended successfully and Somali FA achieved its goal in
the organization of the two week-long competition which he said had three main goals
for his federation.
The secretary General
noted that his federation will next week organize a colourful ceremony during which
the trophy will be presented to the Liido Sea Food team. Other awards including
medals and cash will be presented to the best player, the top score and other
players who showed fair play during the tournament.
However the below
cautions were given to some of the Liido Sea Food players during Thursday’s
match.
